Gargling with warm salty water several times a day is one of the best and the simple home remedies for laryngitis. The warm salty water soothes the sore throat and kills off the bacteria in your throat. You can also gargle with an antiseptic that can be used for internal use or any mouth wash like Listerine or Colgate. Equal amounts of water and vinegar can also be mixed and used as a gargle to treat laryngitis.

Your diet should also be rich in nutrients or spices that can accelerate the healing process.  A must have any diet for laryngitis is ginger. Just a cup of hot ginger tea can give you instant relief from laryngitis and save you the inconvenience of looking for other home remedies for laryngitis. Garlic too should be included in your diet for quick laryngitis relief. Then remember to follow the prescription of your doctor if your laryngitis is viral, fungal, or bacterial or caused by any other underlying condition.
