Cherries are rich in anthocyanins which are antioxidants that can help you to reduce gout flare ups and inflammation. Consume about fifteen or even twenty cherries every day early in the morning before your stomach has anything. You can also consume the cherries as a snack anytime during the day. For best results, use fresh cherries. Canned cherries are not effective. Safflower can also be used almost for the same purpose. The herb is rich in in minerals that improve circulation, blood cleansing and gout pain alleviation.

Ginger can also be used as one of the best herbal cures for gout especially for those who suffer from toe gout. Just mix a third cup of ground ginger with water and soak your feet in the solution for half an hour. The mixture stimulates sweating which in turn gets rid of uric acid which is one of the main gout causes. Remember to bath or wash your skin thoroughly as ginger can cause skin irritation if left to dry on the skin.

You can also use apples as one of you herbal cures for cancer. Apples are rich in malic acid which can effectively neutralize uric acid, a chief cause of gout. All you need to do is to consume an apple a day. But if you can consume more, say one after every meal, then that would be a big plus for you.
